Hello, my name is Adam Osterholt and I am currently a Staff Systems Engineer at VMware dedicated to VMware Cloud on AWS. Within VMware, I also serve as a member of the CTO Ambassador program, HOL Captain and a subject-matter expert for the Cloud-Native Applications (CNA) business unit. Prior to VMware, I worked for FujiFilm Holdings as an Architect for over eight years. In the community I frequently present at local and regional VMUG meetings, VMworld, EMC World and other events. I am VCP-DCV and VCP-NV certified and recognized as a vExpert.
This blog is a place for me to share my thoughts on datacenter and next-generation applications while hopefully having some lively conversations. My main focus will be on VMware Cloud on AWS and how it integrates with other VMware and partner products. With that said, I like to learn about many different areas of technology so there will be other material on the blog from time to time.
On a personal level, I am a huge sports fan and follow the University of Cincinnati Bearcats (alma-mater), Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. In the warmer months, you will find me working or playing in the outdoors as much as possible.
